Thermoplastics – also known as plastomers – are plastics that can be mouldet within a certain temperature range. The deformation is reversible through reheating.
Different thermoplastics have different properties. What they all have in common: low shrinkage, good elasticity and high strength.
We offer you an extensive selection of materials in the field of thermoplastics. Our range includes materials made from polyethylene (PE-LD and PE-HD), polypropylene (PP), copolymer (PP-C, PE-C and EVA), copolyester (PETG), polystyrene (PS) and hybrid polymers.

Application
- excellently suitable for manufacturing of partially flexible orthoses, flaps and inserts
- thin (1-2 mm) Streifylast/Trolen is often used also as foaming aid
Characteristics
- Mouldable at approx. 130-160 °C
- deep drawable
- can be welded at higher temperatures
Depending on oven type, always use a clean PTFE-coating; talcum or aggressive cleaning aids (e.g. acetone) will damage the material surface. The dryer the model, the less material shrinkage is detectable.
